Moto 360 gets minor 5.0.2 update

If you are flaunting a Moto 360 on your wrist, here is some good news for you. Apart from rolling out the Android Lollipop update for its flagship phones, the Moto 360 would be receiving a minor update to fix the bugs that have been reported till now. The new update would bring the Motorola wearable to 5.0.2.


If you are wondering what all is going to change with the update, Motorola’s official page states this:

Google Play Updated Google Play services
Bug Fixes A variety of system optimizations and security updates to improve performance and stability

This is what you need to do if you are interested to update your watch to the new OS version:

You would receive the software update notification automatically but before you start, make sure your device has almost 80% battery in store. Plus, your watch should be connected to a phone which has internet connectivity in place.

  1. Select “Download”.
  2. After the software is downloaded, select “Install now”.
  3. After the software is installed, your Moto 360 will restart automatically.
  4. Your watch is now updated with software version 5.0.2 and build number LWX49L.
 The update is available for build number LWX49L. You could tweak around your settings and check for the update now. It might take a while to reach you, remember Motorola has just started the roll-out process.
