The Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 is fast gaining acceptance as one of the very well known smartwatches there ever were in the market. The most talked about feature this watch brought with itself when it’s release was still the murmur on the street is that it would not be limited only to the Samsung range of mobile phones, so long as they have more a RAM more than 1.5 GB.
So when you actually g to lay hands on the device, the first real question is how do you get it up and working? First of all, you’ll have to get it paired with your cell phone. Now, if you are usinga Samsung phone you’ll g the Gear Manager App on the Galaxy Apps Store. For others, Samsung has been ki nd enough to put it up on the Google Play Store.
Once the app is installed, you can tweak some settings and decide what all notifications you want to receive. You can also change the watch faces and decide how you want your watch to look. Pretty cool!
You will find that the Samsung Gear S2 actually serves the actual purpose which the smartwatches are supposed to serve- make the functions of your phone be available on your wrist, or at least be able to control them. It is compatible to use Maps, Gmail, Play Music and other important apps.
While it’s still early for the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 to promise anything, here’s a worthy competitor (and may be even more superior) to the Moto 360 and its allies.
